Since printing our first Bible in 1591 we have maintained an unrivalled reputation for expert craftsmanship and respect and care for the text. As King’s Printer, we are entrusted by the Crown to preserve the heritage and reputation of the historic texts of the Authorized (King James) Version of the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer, which together represent two of the cornerstones of the English language.


We offer a wide variety of Bible versions - more than any other Bible publisher - and produce Bibles, and the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, in multiple formats purposefully designed for specific needs. We also continue to expand our range with thoughtful innovation, such as the Cambridge Family Chronicle Bible which has added a new dimension to our collection.
