Annual Report and Annual Review for 2020-2021 now available

The Cambridge University Press Annual Report and Cambridge Assessment Annual Review are both now available online

The reports show the way the two organisations have navigated the pandemic in supporting teachers, learners and researchers around the world, and their extensive preparations for the launch of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which began operating on 1 August 2021. 

The Cambridge Assessment Annual Review reflects the 12 months from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021, while the Cambridge University Press report covers the 15-month period to the end of July 2021. The difference is a result of the Press having adjusted its financial year end to match that of the rest of the University ahead of the integration.

The strength of the combined organisation is illustrated by the innovative projects featured in the reports, including: 

• new and exciting online and digital projects focused on improving reach and flexibility, such as ‘Cambridge GO!’, which consolidates access to all of our digital Education services, alongside ‘IELTS Indicator’, ‘Test & Train’ and ‘English Adventures’ for English language learners, computer-based versions of our popular occupational English and university admissions tests, and powerful digital platforms to drive greater open access for researchers 
• the formation of the Cambridge Partnership for Education, which advises governments and non-governmental organisations on education reform 
• and the launch of new curriculum and learning materials for primary and lower secondary students.

As a single organisation we can offer customers the easily integrated products and services they want and expect from Cambridge.”

Those qualities have all been displayed in our response to the pandemic and the performance recorded in these reports is further testament to that.
