PRAESA (Project for the Study of Alternative Education in South Africa) en Karen Press slaag daarin om op kreatiewe wyse deur middel van eg Suid-Afrikaanse voorbeelde al die terminologie wat in die Uitkomsgebaseerde kurrikulum benodig word, in hierdie teks te dek. Trefwoorde word verduidelik in ’n taal en styl wat by 10- tot 15-jariges aanklank sal vind, en word met behulp van sterk visuele beelde in konteks geplaas.
