Click Start: Computer Science for Schools is an eight level series of textbooks for students. The Second edition is thoroughly updated keeping in mind the trends in the field of information and communication technology. This edition keeps in-line with the interactive approach used in the previous edition, making learning an enriching experience. This series is based on Windows 7 and MS Office 2007 with updates on Windows 8 and Office 2010. The text has been supported with lively illustrations and images. Books 1 to 5 focus on the fundamentals of computer science. This includes knowledge of software, hardware, networking, MS Office, MSWLOGO. Books 6 to 8 extend the learning to Flash, HTML, QBASIC, Visual Basic, Photoshop, communication and networking, and the concept of programming languages like C++ and Java; and train students to protect computer system against various computer virus.
