Journal of the Marine Biological Association UK (JMBA) is an international journal, publishing original research and reviews on all aspects of marine biology, to support the aims of the MBA. Journal of Fluid Mechanics is the leading international journal in the field and is essential reading for all those concerned with developments in fluid mechanics. It publishes authoritative articles covering theoretical, computational and experimental investigations of all aspects of the mechanics of fluids. Each issue contains papers on both the fundamental aspects of fluid mechanics, and their applications to other fields such as aeronautics, astrophysics, biology, chemical and mechanical engineering, hydraulics, meteorology, oceanography, geology, acoustics and combustion.The journal was founded in 1956 by George Batchelor, who was also its Editor until 1996 (with Keith Moffatt as co-Editor from 1966 to 1983). Since then the Editors have been David Crighton, Tim Pedley and Steve Davis. The current Editor is Grae Worster, assisted by Deputy Editors Paul Linden and Charles Meneveau. They are part of a team of Associate Editors who handle submissions autonomously. JFM does not impose page charges for regular publication. Optional inclusion of colour figures in the print edition is charged at a rate of £200 per figure. Accepted papers may be published under an open access license in exchange for an article processing charge of £1695/$2700.

Earth and Environmental Science Transactions (formerly Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Earth Sciences) is a general earth sciences journal publishing a comprehensive selection of substantial peer-reviewed research papers, reviews and short communications of international standard across the broad spectrum of the Earth and its surface environments. The journal prides itself on the quality of its graphics and photographic reproduction. The Editors are keen to encourage interdisciplinary papers and Transactions also publishes occasional special symposia and invited volumes of specific interest. We are currently in the process of digitising the archive of RSE Publications, and the archive of the Transactions, dating back to 1788, will be available from the back issues link on this site.
