This revised edition of Cambridge Connection Mathematics conforms fully to the vision of the latest syllabus prescribed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. The series for grades 1 to 8 has been revised as per the recommendations released by the ICSE. This revised edition includes various learning tools and teaching techniques to facilitate concrete learning. It provides plenty of opportunities to explore concepts through individual and collaborative work. At the same time, it paves the way for advanced learning through engaging methods of instruction. In this edition, a unique approach to concept-learning through an interesting comprehension and practice exercise in the form of 'Story Time' has been developed. A new idea being introduced in the series is that of 'Concept Check' which focuses on identifying or clarifying mistakes or misconceptions and how they can be resolved by students themselves.
The series for grades 1-8 conforms to the guidelines released by the ICSE and keeping in view certain key highlights of the NEP 2020. The primary aim of designing the content is to present opportunities to students to gain mastery over core essentials, and make space for critical thinking, holistic, inquiry-based, perception-based, self-analysis based and adaptive learning.
