Communicate with Cambridge

The course aims to develop communication skills in students by integrating the essential language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. It has well-graded grammar and vocabulary sections to help students grasp core language structures and enrich their expression. Each unit has a warm-up, well-graded post-reading questions, grammar and vocabulary sections, plenty of illustrations, writing tasks, and life skills section. The highlight of this course is the section dedicated to the Assessment of Speaking and Listening(ASL). There is also a vibrant poster. In this edition, the content is closely mapped to the tenets of the National Education Policy. In addition, there are two special Think, Feel, Act sections aimed at providing an opportunity for learners to internalise the concepts, understand them and apply them too. The Do You Remember? section is included at the beginning of coursebook 1, intended for the continuous review of topics learnt in the pre-primary years.
