Cambridge School Grammar aims to introduce learners to carefully-graded grammatical structures in English in meaningful contexts, and provide abundant practice in using the structures for listening, speaking, reading and writing. The companion Teacher’s Book has been developed keeping in mind the need to create a childcentric, learner-friendly environment in the classroom, where the teacher is a guide and a facilitator rather than ‘the sage on a stage’.The Teacher’s Book provides detailed Lesson Plans for every chapter, outlining procedures, material requirements, aims and time required for every exercise in the book. In addition, it defines, for the convenience of the teacher, the specific cognitive domain which an exercise addresses. The six skills defined below as per Bloom’s Taxonomy are addressed through a variety of language-learning tools and activities that ensure holistic development of the learners’ understanding of grammar.
