News and Events

Building on the momentum of their recent Europe and Central Asia cohort, Cambridge and HP are opening applications for education leaders in Latin America to join their global EdTech Fellowship network. From 1 May 2025, senior government officials and leaders of educational organisations across Latin America can apply.
This marks the Fellowship’s first expansion into Latin America, following strong engagement in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Gulf. Since launching, the programme has supported 78 leaders from 40 countries. Together, their work has already reached 5 million students and teachers - a figure that will continue to grow.
The HP Cambridge Partnership for Education EdTech Fellowship helps leaders design and deliver digital solutions that meet the needs of their communities. Through a five-month hybrid programme, combined with a growing international alumni network, Fellows build the skills and confidence to drive change in education.
Dr Iwan Syahril, former Director General at Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, said: “This Fellowship is unique and timely. Right now, all countries want to make the best use of education technology to transform their systems.”
Programme structure
From September 2025, selected leaders from Latin America will join a five-month hybrid programme. They will collaborate virtually and attend an intensive residential week in Cambridge, UK. During this, they will work with international experts and peers to tackle real-world EdTech challenges.
Fellows will focus on expanding access to learning, promoting equity, strengthening teacher development, and using data to drive decision-making. They will also work on building resilient systems and applying artificial intelligence in ethical and effective ways.
This expansion strengthens Cambridge and HP’s commitment to building a global community of education leaders. By welcoming leaders working across Latin America, the Fellowship will continue to grow a network of innovators who are shaping the future of learning worldwide.
Apply from 1 May 2025
Cambridge and HP will accept applications from 1 May 2025. Fully funded scholarships will support selected candidates.
