The Little Library Life Skills Kit (along with the Literacy and Numeracy Kits) was initially developed to respond to a need for high quality, indigenous books for the younger members of our communities. After ten years successful use in schools, the kits have now been revised to meet the changing needs of learners, schools and the new education policies. Overview

Wat as?' introduces questions about the learners' lives and the technology they live with in a fun and sometimes fantasy-filled way. The simple question and answer style of the story book aims to stimulate discussion about, and investigation into, the technology around us. The illustrations play a big part in this story book as they tell a lot about what the boy in the story is actually thinking. The illustrations are detailed and are also a good subject for further discussion. The big book expands upon the ideas by asking further questions of the reader.
