Steve Murrary

With over 25 years of experience working in education, Steve began his career working for 6 years as a teacher of English Language and Literature in public and private schools across central Europe and Saudi Arabia. 

Building on this international teaching experience, Steve joined the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, working for 10 years as an Assessment Subject Specialist in English and Modern Foreign Languages. 

An interest in broadening the scope of his work with education systems beyond assessment led Steve to take up a role for Cambridge as an international project manager based in Bahrain. Following this successful experience of project implementation, Steve worked as a leader and adviser to multi-disciplinary teams looking to respond to education contracting opportunities for Cambridge around the world.

Steve has represented Cambridge to education practitioners, school leaders, and ministerial delegates from countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Pakistan, and Kuwait. Steve enjoys working with colleagues around the world to establish new partnerships in education, develop existing relationships, and collaborate on the successful design and implementation of education reform projects and programmes.
