Bioscope has been developed by Cambridge Assessment (UCLES) and the University of Derby Centre for Interactive Assessment Development. This versatile software gives you the ability to search for slides or tasks using key words, and it can be used for whole class teaching via a whiteboard or data projector. It can also be used by individual students on PCs, ensuring all students are using the same slide. Biology students can use these tasks to practice their observation skills, and develop and improve their practical skills such as focusing, stage movement and measurement. The tasks also reinforce the learning of key concepts and help integrate practical work with learning.
