Next Generation

Next Generation is a two-level course for upper-secondary students combining thorough preparation for the Pruebas de Acceso a la Universidad (PAU) exams with material that helps learners improve their English language skills for life. 'Get started' sections help students with strategies they need for effective language-learning. The Grammar sections in each unit provide systematic practice and revision, while the vocabulary syllabus covers a wide variety of lexical areas. A focus throughout the course on phrasal verbs provides continuous support in this challenging area. Authentic texts give extensive practice in reading and understanding real English, while reading comprehension exercises focus on exam-style practice. A step-by-step approach to writing supports and guides the students towards effective process writing, and mock PAU exams and exam strategies further prepare the students for success in the exam. 'Speaking' and 'Listening' sections offer the opportunity to develop these language skills beyond the Bachillerato syllabus.
