Donna Cook

Donna brings over 30 years of experience in schools, ELICOS, and higher education, working in culturally diverse contexts, both in Australia and overseas. Her expertise spans teaching, lecturing, business development, research, curriculum design, assessment design and implementation, and teacher professional development. Donna provides key stakeholder management to deliver projects, facilitating communication and strong mutually respectful relationships between Cambridge and our partners.

She holds a Master’s degree in Education, an MA in TESOL, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

Donna has been the lead on curriculum development projects; including embedding English language development across undergraduate health programs, and the development of curriculum for university pathway programs across various disciplines. Donna has made significant contributions to the Australian international education sector, serving on the English Australia Board from 2013 to 2023, including as Deputy Chair from 2019 to 2023. Her leadership extends to State and national initiatives, where she successfully led an application for a Study Queensland Partnership grant and co - coordinated the Raise Your Voice Choir Festival. Her contributions were recognized with the Study Queensland International Education Champion of the Year Award in 2018. She also received and IEAA International Education Association Australia) fellowship in 2023.

As In-Country Manager for Cambridge she continues to influence and drive educational reform and excellence.
