Unlock Middle East Edition

This course is a four-level paired skills course with an academic light approach using Discovery Education video content. It is aimed at low-level EAP learners and students who want a more focused approach than general English but are not yet ready for an intensive EAP course. Each level will have two Student's books - Reading & Writing, and Listening & Speaking available as printed or interactive e-books. The course is CEF-aligned using the English Profile Wordlist, with a strong critical thinking strand, based on Bloom's taxonomy - including development of higher order and lower order thinking skills; unit wordlists based on English Profile, corpus research and Coxhead's Academic Wordlist; typical learner errors are integrated into the material; and short Discovery videos at the beginning of each unit to lead in to the topic.
