Overview
Soccer is a game that can be enjoyed by anyone anywhere. All you need is a little space and a ball. In this non-fiction book we meet two schoolboys who enjoy playing soccer and two famous soccer stars. We learn more about two of the main soccer clubs in South Africa. The main concepts that are carried throughout the telling and teaching of the story include soccer vocabulary and the positive role models introduced. Additional concepts include looking at soccer as an international sport and discussing people's interests.
