Zygote
: Journal
Zygote is an international journal dedicated to the rapid publication of original research in early embryology. It covers interdisciplinary studies in animals and humans, from gametogenesis through fertilization to gastrulation. The scope includes gametogenesis, sperm–oocyte interaction, gamete and embryo physiology, cell polarity, cell–cell interactions, nuclear transfer, haploidization, molecular genetics, developmental genetics, in-vitro fertilization, and stem-cell and cryoconservation technologies. The editors favour work describing fundamental processes in the cellular and molecular mechanisms of animal development, and, in particular, the identification of unifying principles in biology. New technologies, clinical papers, review articles, debates and letters will become prominent features.
Seed Science Research
: Journal
Seed Science Research, the official journal of the International Society for Seed Science, is an international journal that publishes original papers, as well as reviews and opinion papers, dealing primarily with the fundamentals of seed research with emphasis on the physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and ecology of seed development, dormancy and germination. The importance of seeds to propagation, food, biofuel and biodiversity cannot be underestimated and therefore submissions on seed genetics, seed biotechnology, seed treatment and seedling establishment are especially encouraged if they are novel and ‘seed driven’.
Nutrition Research Reviews
: Journal
Nutrition Research Reviews offers a comprehensive overview of nutritional science today. By distilling the latest research and linking it to established practice, the journal consistently delivers the widest range of in-depth articles in the field of nutritional science and has done so for nearly thirty years . It presents up-to-date, concise, critical reviews of key topics in nutrition science advancing new concepts and hypotheses that encourage the exchange of fundamental ideas on nutritional well-being in both humans and animals.IF: 3.9125-year IF: 6.374
Plant Genetic Resources
: Journal
Plant Genetic Resources is an international journal which provides a forum for describing the application of novel genomic technologies, as well as their integration with established techniques, towards the understanding of the genetic variation captured in both in situ and ex situ collections of crop and non-crop plants; and for the airing of wider issues relevant to plant germplasm conservation and utilisation. We particularly welcome multi-disciplinary approaches that incorporate both a technical and a socio-economic focus. Technical aspects can cover developments in technologies of potential or demonstrated relevance to the analysis of variation and diversity at the phenotypic and genotypic levels; the development of rational germplasm collection, evaluation and conservation strategies; and the impact of crop genetic modification and biotechnology on plant genetic resources. Non-technical aspects can include ethical, legal, commercial and social issues of relevance, in particular relating to farmers’ rights, intellectual property and ethnobotany.
